Employers are now bound by the Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005 to ensure that workers are not exposed to high levels of vibration. The HAVmeter is an easy to use system which can measure vibration levels on power tools and vibrating equipment and, using a simple colour coding, warn workers when vibration levels become high.
The HAVmeter puts the employee at the centre of Hand-Arm Vibration management. They can easily understand how much vibration they have been exposed to and will know when they reach unsafe levels which may cause long lasting damage to themselves from vibration white finger.
