Top dB Sound Meter from Castle

You can now be top dB at the Sound-Off Competition with the new GA213 SPL Sound Meter from Castle. This device is the latest in sound measuring technology and gives the highest level of accuracy so you will have 'final judgement' on the day.

"Measuring sound levels accurately in decibels is no easy task," says Simon Bull, marketing guru at Castle. "The problem is that so many sound meters out there are simply not up to the task."

The GA213 has been built to conform to a tough new international standard and is designed to keep it simple so getting the right level will be straight forward and will certainly take the arguments out of any competition.

The GA213 is built to IEC61672:2002 Class 2 and measures SPL (Sound Pressure Level), Lmax (Maximum rms. Level) and Ppeak (Maximum peak level) simultaneously and will measure in dB(A) or dB(C) - for wider frequency range.

The instrument also has a timer and a pause function to capture the levels measured.
