The Implementation of the control of substances hazardous to health (COSHH) regulations 2002 means it is vitally important that all businesses comply and follow the EH40 book, produced by the HSE which dictates safe exposure limits in the work place. So what do you actually have to do?
Aims and Objectives
This seminar is here to help you understand the basic principles of COSHH risk assessment and air sampling, to make you aware of some of the risks that may be caused by exposure to hazardous substances and ways in which to overcome and prevent problems.
Who Should Attend?
Anyone from an organisation where hazardous substances may be an issue. This person may be a professional safety officer, works manager or simply someone who has been given the responsibility of looking after the employee's welfare.

Itinerary
An interesting and good session overall, especially as it was a free session. It was very helpful to be able to see some of the equipment/detectors. (Anne Marie Ullyott – Bradford Council)
