The NoiseLog records noise to a standard compact flash card and measures the noise levels in order to provide a clear understanding and indentification in the cases of noise nuisance complaints. The ease and simplicity of use make this a useful tool for all enforcement officers and complainants. Once set up the unit operates with a single push button switch to begin and end recording.

While in use the unit can be securely locked, with only the operation switch and microphone cables extruding from the case.

The noise recording can then be downloaded to a PC and analysed using the NoiseLog software. Noise files are stored on a compact flash card as standard WAV files. Analysis shows SPL, max levels and the time of the noise as well as total Leq and 3 Ln values. A 1GB flash card is supplied with the NoiseLog which can typically record up to 3.5 hours of noise.

NoiseLog is available in three versions:

  • NK003A - Class 1
  • NK003B - Class 2
  • NK003C - Budget

Class 1 and Class 2 versions meet sound level meter standards for IEC 60651 or IEC 61672. UKAS accreditation is available on request.

Each NoiseLog kit is supplied with:

  • GA507 Noise Log Sound Recording System including mains power unit, handset, microphone, preamplifier and cable with table-top tripod and mounting adaptor
  • GA607 Dual Level Calibrator (94dB/104dB)
  • Noise Log PC Software
