The need to monitor temperature and humidity levels in engineering processes is increasing. Product quality, product testing, energy efficiency and comfort in a working environment will often require information of temperature and humidity levels. Different techniques and requirements of use mean that there are several different types of thermometer or humidity meter each with their own pros and cons for use in a particular sector or industry.
Temperature can be a big issue within health and safety, especially in the food industry. There are two methods of measuring temperature, being contact and non contact measurements. Depending on your application will determine which method you need if not a combination of both. Cassafe can provide a range of thermometers including probe thermometers, surface thermometers, indoor/outdoor thermometers and infrared thermometers etc.
The measurement of moisture and humidity has become more and more of a concern recently as most processes are to some extent affected by the presence of water. Now because there are more and more demands in production to improve quality, technical processes and energy saving processes. It is important to have accurate low cost measuring instruments.
