Training
Castle training courses provide an in-depth knowledge and a high level of hands-on practical experience in a range of health, safety and environmental subjects including, noise vibration, COSHH and audiometry. The courses are tutored by highly experienced professionals and lead to 'competent person' status.
Castle also run a series of half-day seminars covering current and future legislation regarding health and safety at work, noise legislation, vibration legislation and COSHH, enabling both employers and employees to fully understand their responsibilities in the working environment.
Your Legal Requirements
The HSE states in guidance that assessments must be carried out by people with the necessary knowledge and skills to assess and manage the risks
"Whether carrying out the work yourself, appointing other people, or a combination of the two, you need to make sure that the assessment and management of the noise risks is carried out in a competent manner based on competent advice. This means making sure that all people involved in the process have the necessary training and experience to carry out their part of the work."
