Air flow measuring equipment has come a long way, beginning with buret, soap film, stopwatch and flow charts, moving to automated systems with electric timers and microprocessors, and then finally to the DryCalâ precision piston flow measuring technology.
The DryCalâ DC-Lite is an ultra compact, field portable primary air flow meter used for industrial hygiene, environmental and laboratory applications. The DC-Lite uses patented near-frictionless piston technology and photo optic sensors to obtain volumetric flow rates quickly and accurately.
Housed in a small, sturdy case, each unit employs a variety of popular user conveniences such as AC/DC operation, battery level indicator, a large alphanumeric LCD, push-button read and auto-read functions, 5 minute automatic shut-off and a parallel printer port for data-logging.
