The GA1001 Excalibur Audiometer is designed to be a fully functioning complete audiometer kit ideal for hearing tests within any company, hospital or health establishment. With a focus on flexibility and extremely portable the Excalibur can be used anywhere.
The Excalibur audiometer is used in conjunction with a PC, either notebook or desktop, and can create accurate hearing test data. The PC software can be used to analyse and print audio grams when required.
With testing down to -20dB, automatic or manual operation, storage based on the size of the PC’s hard drive, flexible parameters to set up hearing tests, reports printed on A4 paper either from each hearing test or as a batch, statistical analysis and connection to the Occupation Health Database the GA1001 Excalibur Audiometer is the ideal solution for large quantities of hearing tests and regular use.
NB A PC or laptop with USB is required to use this Audiometer and is not supplied with the rental kit.
The Main Program in Excalibur provides the following facilities:
- Entry of subject information
- Entry of operator comments
- Automatic testing in line with the BSA recommendations for pure tone Audiometry
- Automatic, semi - automatic or manual testing
- Single or multiple pulse option
- Storage of results on disk
- Recall of stored results to screen for comparison with current test
- Entry of re-test date for automatic reminders
- Printout of results in full A4 format as below
- Option to merge data with user - definable letters
- Categorisation of results based on age and previous results
- Adaptation of test protocol to suit patient and operator
- Wide measuring range (-20 to 120dB) to allow accurate assessment for all age groups
- Frequency range 125Hz to 12KHz with standard frequency lists, or own list option
- Export of results to database
The Utility Program in Excalibur adds the following features
- Automatic selection of results saved on a particular day with
- Printout of that days’ work and automatic superimposition of the most recent tests
- Printout or display of patients due for re-test
- Printout of a letter containing merged data
- A statistical analysis of the results obtained broken down by category number.
