    What’s the aim of the seminar?

    If you are faced with Environmental Noise issues, then this seminar is going to be a great way to get the information you need. The course is suitable for anyone who is facing such issues, either for the first time or as someone with plenty of experience who needs an update. On top of the necessary background to acoustics, we will look at the main British and EU Standards for Environmental Noise as well as the World Health Organisation (WHO) guidelines.

    The Tutors

    Not only do our tutors have a vast amount of experience delivering seminars like this one, but they also have years of practical knowledge in dealing with the issues of Environmental Noise.

    Chris Gilbert is the head of a national acoustic consultancy and brings decades of experience of measuring, assessing and reporting on all manner of noise scenarios. He also lectures on acoustics and has trained thousands of people over the years.

    Simon Bull is the Managing Director at Castle Group and as has been involved in instrumentation and measurement of noise for the past 26 years, he is a member of the Institute of Acoustics and is active on their committees.
